Description

A look at the Majestic Building, Detroit's second skyscraper. The Majestic opened in 1896 on the corner of Woodward and Michigan avenues. The office building stood across from old City Hall and was torn down in 1962. It was designed by Daniel Burham, who also did Detroit's Dime Building (still standing) and the Flatiron Building in New York City.
Video features "Always See Your Face" by Love.
