「原爆を落とした米国に日本人がなぜ好意を持てるのか理解できない」と持論を繰り広げ た。講演では「欧米諸国と違い、日本はアフリカ大陸で植民地政策や侵略行為をしなかった」 と評価する一方、「国連で日本は米国に追随してばかり。もっと自由な意思を持たないと いけない」とも語った。
