Description

I'm a big fan of Adventure games and I'm a big fan of the fantastic Tex Murphy games from the 90s. They had great stories, great puzzles and great FMVs... I always wanted to do a fan trailer to the Tex Murphy series, but I never got around to do it.

But when I heard that Chris Jones is going to start a Kickstarter Campaign on May 15th to revive Tex and finally continue the cruel cliffhanger in Overseer, I simply had to do a fan trailer as a tribute to the awesome classics!

I hope you like it!
Join the Kickstarter Campaign and help Big Finish Games bring back Tex and Chelsee! Be sure to check out the Unofficial Tex Murphy Board AND the Tex-Timonials (and other Tex-related videos) here on Youtube from fellow avid Tex-Gamers!

I'll put up some links to them soon.

Oh yeah and of course it should be "Escape FROM Thunder Island" and not "TO"! Sorry for the typo! ;)

► You're new to Tex Murphy and you're wondering what's it all about?

Check out the wiki pages:

Please note, that the Tex Murphy series is also known for its great humor and funny dialogues. The games contain various funny scenes, they have a perfect balance between comedy and seriousness/mystery. But I intended to make this trailer a bit more serious to show the darker side of the Murphy universe.

I recommend to check out booty1983's funny promo videos to get a glimpse of the humorous side of Tex Murphy! :)
